I’m not your average Designer.
My background spans both hardware and software, and I’m hyperaware of the nuanced considerations of designing for each medium.
I’m extremely resourceful, drawing from a wide range of inspiration and experience in the ever-changing world of the best design tools, processes, and methods.
For example, I’m researching and using multiple AI tools every day, so I’ve become skilled in the nuanced art of prompting to get better, more accurate results, faster.
I’ve had the unique opportunity to lead Product Design on international teams for some of the world’s best enterprise-level and Fortune 500 clients, so I have an excellent understanding of how companies perform, grow, and best connect with customers.
I’ve worked as a Designer, not only in the civilian sector but also for the government within the US defense industry, where I held a Secret Military Clearance to perform work on aeronautical projects for the US Navy.
My background is rooted in award-winning design firms, where I had the amazing experience to gain exposure to just about every part of the design process imaginable, producing impact on a massive variety of projects, industries, and client types.
I’m not just a contributing Designer but a highly motivated team leader, with a great track record of spearheading design on multidisciplinary teams, as well as training, managing, and mentoring junior Designers.
In addition to my design degree, I hold a P.M.C. certification in Product Management from the Product School, which helps me approach problems from a holistic lens which includes engineering, marketing, and business strategy.
I’ve also owned my own business selling design services and award-winning products, so I'm intimate with the complex inter-workings and challenges facing today's small businesses, as well as the importance of customer obsession.
I have traveled to, lived in, and performed ethnographic design research in several countries, which affords me a wider lens to design for and connect with a more diverse set of target audiences, without the typical set of unquestioned assumptions.
In addition to working as a Designer, I’m an avid traveler, book collector, music enthusiast, wave-chaser, cyclist, and half-decent home chef.
Clients have included Nvidia, Johnson&Johnson, Freddie Mac, AstraZeneca, Cummins, Berkshire Bank, Wells Fargo, Opendoor, Kubota, and the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA).
